We packed up and headed down to The Children’s Museum of Memphis this morning. The jmonsters, Shelby, Zach, CG, Grandpa, Mommy & Daddy had a great time doing all of the exhibits and seeing all that the museum had to offer.
Memphis falls into the we visited it category and don’t know if we will be in any great hurry to be back. It was somewhat dirty and we were told that certain areas of the city weren’t safe to park on in broad day light. We did eat barbecue on Beale Street, that may be worth the trip back. All in all, Beale Street seemed to be a Bourbon Street want to be and not exactly a kid friendly place.
Well, we are into the next place. This move wasn’t very much fun, the pain was still pretty fresh in our minds from the last. The jmonsters spent the night over at Grandma and Pap-Pap’s so Mommy and Daddy could get a couple of loads over to the new apartment.
The movers came the next morning and moved the big stuff. We are still in awe how easy they make moving look. If we even attempted this we would be crippled up for weeks. So far so good, the apartment is a little smaller, but will suit or needs until the next move…
