We have put the jmonsters off long enough, and they are ready to burst at the seams. We trudged up to the attic and began to take down the thousands of Christmas totes we have stashed away.

First, the tree, and it is a wonder that they are any working lights left on the spruce. It doesn't quite fit through the hallway, so we have to get a bit of a running start and give a big push. Scrape, grunt, scrap and then grunt it made it down and miraculously lit up on the first try.

Daddy assumed his position in the chair and directs the jmonsters and Mommy on ornament placement throughout the tree. The jmonsters need to grow a little taller, because the bottom portion of the tree ends up decorated a little heavier than the rest. We also had the occasional bulb hanging from other bulb, and the Yule time favorite ornaments hanging off from the light wires.

All in all, not a bad job. Uncle Jeff and little J came over and helped us with the festive decorations. They were stranded at Midas because it is always cool to have a car that needs repairs around the Holidays.
